Name of this new SUV is Mahindra XUV 500. Expected, the SUV will hit the market very soon, probably at the end of this year. If so, then this SUV will be the first Global SUV of

The engine of the SUV would be 2.2 liter mHAWK diesel engine which can produce maximum power of 140 bhp and maximum torque of 326 Nm with 5 or 6-speed manual transmission. Expected the SUV will be larger than Scorpio and stylish.


Mahindra XUV 500 will be available in both 4 x 2 and 4 x 4 variants. The SUV will include features like Cruise Control, ABS, ESP, Traction Control, Airbags, LED Daytime running lights, Audio system, AC with climate control etc. It will look forward to do business with some leading SUV in market now like TATA Aria, Chevrolet Captiva, and Honda CR-V etc.
The most awaited first Global SUV of India from  is going to be unveiled on 28^th September. Code name of this Global SUV was W201 and this SUV got the new name as Mahindra XUV 500 which is pronounced as Mahindra 5 double “O”. Price and other strategy of the vehicle is going to be declared on next day, i.e. on 29^thSeptember.
