The Hyena was a project by the Italian coachbuilders Zagato which was intended to prove they could be a manufacturer again. The Zagato Hyena was based on the Lancia Delta Integrale platform, but with a two-door coupe body. The Hyena was designed in 1990 by Marco Pedracini (Zagato), and introduced at the Brussels Motor Show in January 1992. A production run of 100 Zagato Hyenas was originally planned but the actual production run finished after 24 cars were built.
